Outdated to updated: exceeding expectations

Interior Lens was engaged by a real estate agent selling a large family home to help prepare an outdated property for sale. Keeping the needs of potential buyers front of mind, Interior Lens coordinated project collaborators, including painters, electricians and carpet installers, to transform the property to appeal to just the right buyer.

A new light and bright colour scheme was used throughout, new carpets, light fittings and window treatments were installed, the garden was redesigned as a family-friendly space, and furniture was carefully selected and arranged to ensure the home felt spacious and welcoming.

Having removed all the hassle of end-to-end project management from the owner, the client was delighted with the result and the higher than expected sale price of the property.

“Carolyn was engaged to style my home for an upcoming sale. She was very honest and straightforward and her design expertise resulted in improving the layout of the rooms and creating a particular ‘feel’ for the house. Everything went like clockwork and Carolyn regularly checked in on me as the work progressed. I couldn’t fault her attention to detail. The overall result was stunning and resulted in a higher than expected selling price. I highly recommend Carolyn for any future property styling.”
